Mohamed Nasreldin is a Professor of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, & head of the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, from August 2012 till now. In addition, he was the director of the Cairo University Psychiatry & Addiction Prevention Hospital from March 2011 till July 2012.
 

Dr. Mohamed as a consultant at the outpatient clinics: he is concerned with interviewing, diagnosing, & management of new cases. Also, he supervises and trains the junior doctors. 
 

Assessment & management of chronic medical patients are part of his duties. He is also following cancer patients’ depression & anxiety & management of burnout syndrome.
 

He is interviewing new cases, & diagnosing & managing various child psychiatry disorders including play therapy. 
 

Dr. Mohamed is working in a multidisciplinary team that is responsible for the assessment of cases of abuse. In addition, he is the one responsible for their proper placement. He practices motivational enhancement interviews with the patients.
 

He is practicing group & family therapy. He has been practicing eclectic psychotherapy for more than 29 years now & Group Therapy.
 

Also, he is involved in research activities as he has more than 70 publications in national, regional & international journals.
