Dr. Mirna Nabil is an experienced integrative psychiatrist and nutritionist, with experience in both public hospitals and private practice, specializing in managing eating disorders. She earned a Clinical Nutrition Diploma from the National Nutrition Institute and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Psychiatry at the University of South Wales, UK. She possesses a strong passion and expertise in assessing and treating mental health conditions, particularly Eating Disorders. She also holds a Master Practitioner Diploma in Eating Disorders from the National Centre for Eating Disorders in the UK, specializing in Eating Disorders, psychological obesity management, and nutritional interventions. She is also affiliated with the ‘Eating and Body Challenges’ clinic as a Nutritionist. She is skilled at developing comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that aim to create lasting changes for her clients.
Mirna has a particular focus on the mental health of women throughout their life journey, beginning with adolescence and weight-related concerns and continuing through perinatal, fertility, infertility, PMS, and perimenopausal phases. She is a DBT-Linehan Board-Certified therapist and Certified CBT therapist from the Beck Institute. She has also received training in Fairburn's CBT-E protocol for Eating Disorders from Oxford University, as well as in Schema therapy for Eating Disorders. She has also received training in the management of psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, Borderline Personality Disorder, etc.. using nutritional interventions.
Mirna cultivates strong relationships through empathy and active listening, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and free from judgement. She creates individualized treatment plans that comprehensively address the root causes of patients' challenges, aiming for long-lasting results. She utilizes a variety of skills, including psychotherapy, nutritional planning, specific supplements, BHRT, and medications, to tailor solutions to each client's unique needs.
